NAEYC Accreditation

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) sets the standard for high-quality early childhood education.

NAEYC accreditation is earned through a rigorous process that evaluates programs across key areas including relationships, curriculum, teaching practices, health and safety, and family engagement.

At DKH, this means:

  • Classrooms built around how children learn and develop
  • Strong relationships between teachers, children, and families
  • A focus on social, emotional, physical, and academic growth
  • Ongoing reflection and improvement from our team

Only a small percentage of early childhood programs achieve NAEYC accreditation, and we are proud to be one of them.

Cognia Accreditation

DKH is also accredited by Cognia, a global organization that evaluates schools based on continuous improvement and student outcomes.

Cognia looks at the full picture of a school, including:

  • Teaching and learning practices
  • Family and community engagement
  • Systems that support student growth

This accreditation supports our work as we expand into early elementary and continue building a strong academic foundation for every child.
