Ready Readers Academy is one of DKH Academy’s most loved after-school enrichment programs and has become a hallmark part of the DKH experience for many families.
Designed for Pre-K 4 and Junior Kindergarten students, the program introduces children to foundational literacy skills through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in a warm and encouraging environment.
Using multi-sensory teaching strategies for language-based learning, Ready Readers Academy incorporates the key components of an effective reading program, including phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, fluency, and comprehension strategies.Helping children feel confident, capable, and excited to read.
