Daily Schedule & Arrival/Dismissal
At DKH Academy, arrival and dismissal are designed to be safe, smooth, and reassuring for children and families.
All arrivals and dismissals take place at the preschool building, regardless of your child’s classroom location. A DKH staff member will greet your child at arrival and help them safely to your car at dismissal.

Toddlers, 2s, and 3s
Early drop-off is by arrangement only and requires an additional fee.
Dismissal Times
12:30 p.m.
Toddlers
12:40 p.m.
Pre-K 4s

2s, 3s, and Junior Kindergarten

How Our Car Line Works
Our circular drive helps keep arrival and dismissal organized and efficient.
Please pull up to the front of the preschool building and remain in your car. A DKH Academy staff member will greet your child at arrival and bring your child to your car at dismissal.
For the safety of all children and families, please do not get out of your car in the drop-off or pickup lane.
Dismissal ID Cards
Each child will receive a laminated dismissal card for their backpack. Parents will receive a matching ID card which can be hung from your review mirror.
Please make sure your ID card is clearly visible during pickup. This helps our staff match children with the correct family quickly and safely.
If you do not have your ID card, or if staff does not recognize the vehicle or person picking up your child, you will be asked to pull forward while administrators verify pickup permission. A picture ID will be required.
Helpful Reminders
Please drop off no more than 5 minutes before your child’s class start time unless prior arrangements have been made through the office.
Please pick up your child on time.
Cell phone use is not allowed during arrival and dismissal.
Please do not park on Briarhill Blvd.
Please be respectful of our neighbors by not blocking driveways, mailboxes, or damaging yards.
Please make sure every authorized pickup person is listed on your child’s emergency card.
