Who We Are
The PTO is a non-profit organization that works alongside the staff at DKH Academy to ensure the school, staff, and students have everything they need to be successful. The PTO plans events such as the Fall Carnival, Movie Night, Cinco de Mayo Celebration, Lunar New Year, and one of our biggest fundraisers, the Auction.
The PTO also organizes community events, Spirit Nights, and book fairs, and contributes to Staff Appreciation, training, and projects and items to enrich the learning experience at DKH Academy. Each dollar raised goes directly back into the early childhood educational experience and environment for all.

PTO Mission

Get Involved
The DKH PTO offers many ways for families to participate in school life and help strengthen our community. Whether you volunteer at an event, support a fundraiser, help behind the scenes, or serve as a Room Mom, every contribution helps create meaningful experiences for students, teachers, and families.
Room Parents
Room Parents play an important role in supporting classroom teachers and helping families stay connected throughout the school year. Responsibilities may include helping coordinate class parties, organizing volunteer sign-ups, assisting with teacher appreciation efforts, communicating reminders to families, and supporting special classroom activities.
Serving as a Room Parent is a wonderful way to build relationships, become more connected to the DKH community, and support your child’s classroom experience.
